Since 1990, from the City of Orange

Who we are

RJ Construction is a roofing and exterior contractor that has been working on North Jersey homes since 1990. Our office is at 496 Cary St in the City of Orange, in Essex County, and our crews work across Essex, Bergen, Hudson, Passaic and Morris counties. Roofing is most of what we do. Siding, replacement windows, entry doors, decks and seamless gutters make up the rest, and many customers have us do several of them on the same house.

Customers who write reviews mostly mention two people by name. Bryan is the one who comes out, looks at the roof in person and writes the quote. Robert is named in other reviews, by customers who say they trust him completely.

How a job with us goes

• We look before we price. Quotes are written after we have seen the roof or the walls in person, not from a photo.
• We show you our work. If you want to see a color or a style on a real house before you commit, we can give you the addresses of roofs we have done nearby. Customers mention this in their reviews.
• Most roofs are done in a day. On most houses the crew arrives in the morning, tears off the old roof, installs the new one and cleans up before leaving. One customer's 30-year-old roof was replaced in about five hours plus cleanup.
• We leave the property the way we found it. Tarps go down over the lawn and shrubs, and cleanup comes up in review after review.

What we install

We install GAF roofing and CertainTeed siding products. Our warranty page explains what each covers and who stands behind it.
